I’ve always had a fascination with homes. This house sits close to a beach access. Though weathered, it will offer protection from the impending storm. The pohutukawa is blooming, as it is summer. There is a heavy feel to the air from the humidity of the coming rain.

This is an original, painted with watercolour on 300gsm cotton archival watercolour stock. Unframed.
