Time to share a little about my journey back to creating art.

When I became pregnant, a lot of my lovely, creative friends and family gave gifts of newborn knitting and clothing... I wondered what I could give my baby (I left the gender a surprise right up until the birth).

I wanted it to be something that I had created... and I’ve always dabbled in drawing and painting so I decided on a wall mural. I loved The Nursery Peter Pan book (printed 1963). It was my mother's, then mine and now it belongs to Ollie.

The mural took quite a while to finish! It's painted with acrylic... and I love that it's always been over his cot while he sleeps.

That was 3 years ago and I’ve slowly worked my way to creating E J Wood Watercolours!
